I can't do complete starvation, Julia, it's just not me...:D

I classed food under housekeeping though that also includes other stuff bought from the supermarket ( washing powder, cleaning products ) etc...

    Welcome to the thread...

    I'll give it a go, edinburgher...:D

Actually spent some money tonight. Went to the usual Sunday night pub quiz this evening. First prize is around £40-£50, if we win it we donate it to the under-eights football club that my DS2 and DS3 play for. So far in the last eighteen months we've won around £250, I suppose. Tonight we came third and just missed the runners-up prize of eight free drinks vouchers...

Spent £7.80 on one round and a pound entry fee.

Quite a quiet day was yesterday...

Collected the envelopes for the next catalogue campaign with my mate. Bought both of us lunch as a "thank-you" (£3.50 from Tesco, three Clubcard points). Other than that, spent £20 on petrol from Tesco (twenty more points) and stayed in as much as possible.;)

Off to Dorset after lunch to see DS1 and DD1.:j

Wa-hey, another NSD today, that's twice already this year....:j

Finished off the paper round leaflets this morning, did some catalogue paperwork for next week, had lunch then off down to Dorset to see DS1 and DD1. Picked DD1 up from school, picked DS1 up from sixth form, had tea with them ( their mum cooked us fish and chips, yum yum ) and had a couple hours playing Rock Band. Left there at 9pm so as to avoid the worst of the weather...:D

Tomorrow is morning and evening post runs, three paper rounds and picking the boys up from school in the afternoon. Happy days! :D

Spent some money today at long last....:D

Did the morning and evening post runs, delivered 350 newspapers, prepared some envelopes for next week's catalogues and picked the boys up from school so a busy day really... .
    • £10.00 petrol in Tesco ( 15 Clubcard points )
    • £10.00 gas:rolleyes:
    • £8.75 shopping in Somerfield:rolleyes:
    • £40.01 paid Virgin bill:T
    • £3.50 at skittles tonight:o
Tomorrow should be quieter as only have papers to deliver. Might get the main weekly shop out of the way tomorrow instead of leaving it till Friday. Also it's weigh-in day tomorrow, haven't been very good last two days but probably lost enough in first five days to cover...

Just weighed in and managed to lose ten pounds in the first week....:j

Being a man who has a lot to lose is handy as we always lose a shed-load in the first week or two. I was quite focused this week and over the next two weeks, I have 800 catalogues and 1,400 newspapers to deliver so providing I stick fairly rigidly to cutting out rubbish from the diet, I should lose quite well there too!:D

Bad day today but tomorrow will be better.

Spent a tenner on gas, got another 360 newspapers delivered and now just about ten hours till I see my little ones again.

Which is better than life itself.:T

Mid-afternoon update today while I have the time.

Took the boys to school this morning then went straight to Asda for my main shop. Spent £31.16 in total though that included a fiver on a fleece and I'd run out of a couple of more expensive items such as coffee and deodorant. Leave that lot out and the bill was a smidgeon over £20, similar to last week...:T

Off to school shortly to pick boys up; tea, football training and bathtime later before exploring a little business idea I've had...;)
