Spent a little bit today, mostly on bills. Paid a month's TV licence (£23.25) plus £12.00 on the gas and another tenner on the electric. £2.34 on a few odds and ends in Tesco's too.
Delivered the last 235 papers this morning so they're out of the way and managed to get a rare interview with Paul Scholes, the Man United player. Only an email interview but he gave me some good quotes. I've got 800 words to write on him by Wednesday plus another 200 on our next opponents, Oldham Athletic.
Tomorrow, I'm off to see a house at 11am with the boys then back home for the rest of the day to watch the rugby and the football.:j0 -
Saw the house this morning. It was a bit scruffy and right at the top end of my budget though and I'd have to move out for a week in the summer while he replaced the kitchen and blocked in a doorway so I think that's a no-go...
Went into town with the boys afterwards and bought lunch (£4.79) and a little bit of shopping (£7.54). Stayed in for the rest of the day watching football and rugby. Ex-OH either didn't fancy coming round or her daughter is still with her...got a "nite nite" text though...:D
Tomorrow? Football match in the morning, lunch then I'd imagine watching more football. The quiz might be tricky tomorrow as a third of the team are away which leaves two of us....:eek:0 -
Just had the text I was dreading... she's moved on and there's no going back now. Ah well, the thought of possibly getting back blinded me, I suppose, but there you go....0

Conspicuous? I had to google that one....:D
Sorry to hear of your recent news Suzi, I'll be sending up a few chimneys for your recovery....;) . Thanks Seaxwyn for your thoughts too, you are both very thoughtful and caring too. Apologies for cut-and-pasting my message from another thread but I'm off to bed shortly and I don't have the energy to retype all of it.
Here goes...

Hi all,
Thanks for asking about me.... . Initially I didn't feel like posting much but after a few days, the feeling passed and then life just took over and I've been really busy.
In a nutshell. Looking at a house tomorrow with a view to moving in next week sometime. My house will be sold ( I rent from a friend ) on March 6th but I've found a place about five minutes drive from where the twins live, just outside Bristol. I saw it last Thursday but I need a second visit. It might be like me... nice looking in the dark but you miss all the ugly bits unless you see it in daylight...:D
Work is busier. Now delivering more than 900 papers a week and had a trip to London today for a customer. Looks like a trip to Cardiff on Friday too. As for the writing in the football programme, I have got five programmes to write for in the next five weeks so I need to get fifteen articles done in that time...
I know you're going to ask about the other so here goes. Got a text a few days later saying "sorry" for the "moving on" text. We had a talk, a long talk where we both made our positions known. At the moment, neither of us is 100% sure where this will or won't be going however she did some over and stay the night on Saturday. We got p***ed (unusual for me) and we're getting on well again.
That's about it really. I'll stay in touch but if I'm AWOL for a few days, it's because I'm bizzy!!:D"0 -

Not looking forward to it-but that's life and I want to live! Will pop by occasionally, xxTomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
