Wii Remotes (Where's cheapest?)

I've been searching for a while, as I need 2 remotes, but everywhere i've tried is £30- Has anyone seen anywhere cheaper?

Thanks in advance

  • There are cheaper ones on Amazon but the reviews say they are not too sturdy and as my kids love to drop them I decided to get the Nintendo ones. I've not seen them anywhere cheaper than a few pence under £30 - even in the sales - maybe a cashback site or somewhere with a discount voucher would be your best bet.

I've ordered wii play which includes a remote for £25.99 delivered from

Ordered 2 days ago but not got it yet so can't give them any feedback!
  • No, none on those either. We got some money for Xmas so decided to buy enough so we could play games as a family - we only ever had one nunchuck and 2 remotes. I paid £15 in Argos but then I did have £40 Argos vouchers for Xmas so I did get a bit of a discount that way, LOL, if you see what I mean.

You can get the ones that are generic, the Nintendo ones I've pretty much found for the same price locally.

I am after a laser gun though. Game are sold out at £7.50 and Argos are £15 ATM. They were £7.50 before Xmas.....

We already had Wii play and it seemed a waste to buy the game and the remote but not use the games.
  • I got mine at base.com (a subsidurary of dvd.co.uk) they worked out about £24 for wiiremote and nunchucks about £14
  • Buy 2 wii play's and put the games disc's on ebay. That way it will reduce the price to about £20 each if you can be bothered
