Yet another diary

Well I thought I was would start my own diary to kick my !!!!!

I'm a full-time uni student, at the mo I only have my loan as I have paid of my credit card thanks to this forum.

I live with my future husband down the south of England, we are getting married next June on a budget (5,000), I'm xmas temping at boots at the moment and hoping that I will get a job there.

I'm trying to cut back and save as my partner is having a career change and we will have 200/300 less every month until his 6 months is up then his wage will go up.

This diary is to help me save money to keep me going if I don't get to keep my boots job which I love btw! For 5 months I need 1.5k so I am saving every penny I can, and if boots keeps me then this money will go on my loan :)

I hope I can be interesting ha ha! Thanks for all your support :)

OH gave me a letter I got this morning while at work, I get £56.50 for my shares as I have left my supermarket job and £100 for my Save as you Earn, which I am really pleased about plus what I figured out for my savings it should be 1,700 by the end of Jan :)

I am really hoping I keep my xmas temp role, fingers crossed.

    Also another NSD :)

I'm in little bit of a worry, I wasn't paid this morning for the last two weeks, I don't know if it is because it is boxing day but still I need that money to buy food, travel and loan! Urgh!

Plus OH hasn't been paid either even though he just left and they owe him 1,300! good thing we have the savings but we need to be paid!

    :(

So together we have decided that we will have to limit the number of people coming to our wedding, make our honeymoon one week instead of two (this might work out better as I have exams in June) and ask the reception catering if they could make our menu cheaper to £20 a head instead of £21.95.

Also we sorted out all our paperwork yesterday and looks like if I can save 2,056.66 by May 2011, I can pay off my loan completely instead of waiting till 2013...

I could of paid it off by May 2009 but I won't have a spare 3,954.28... oh well...

We know it is going to be tough while I am still at uni but when I have finished and got a good job it will be worth it :) Plus we will then make over payments on the mortgage which is 68,000 now...
