Eczema clothing that doesn't break the bank?

My son, 18 months, has awful eczema and I wanted to buy him some pyjamas with fold down mittens but all the ones I have found are over £25 for one set!
Although I will not resent any money spent making my baby more comfortable, I would like to know if there are cheaper suppliers of clothing that will work just as well so if anyone can recommend anywhere that sells these or just any good lower price shops (online) that sell eczema clothing and bedding etc I would be ever so grateful.
Many thanks

my son, 6, has the all in one mitten pyjamas from this shop http://www.eczemaclothing.com - the prices are not cheap but the pjs do wash and tumble dry well and are great quality - i've had them for over 6 mths and they have loads of wear left. I managed to get them in their sale for less than £20 but i can't remember how much exactly. - check out their sale pages.0

I have pretty bad eczema and have done all my life as have the rest of my family and to be honest the best thing is just plain decent quailty cotton. Some synthetics are ok as well. i just have to avoid wool at all costs.
hope this helps as ive never come across exzema clothing just clothing that is bad for it!0 -
I find plain cotton best.
And I sewed fold-overs on the sleeves of my DDs when she needed them. Okay - they didn't match the rest of the PJ's, but it stopped the scritching.0 -
hi we all have excema for my youngest son aged 2 i get the excema leggings aged 2-5 on prescription and sew across the toes to make tights. he then has footed pjs from verbaudet on top to stop him taking them off. also in a baby sleeping bag to stop scratching. my friend swears the excema pjs have made a huge difference to her little boy so am seriously thinking of buying some.:j0

Hello, my daughter also has eczema and I use 100% natural bamboo sleepsuits and pj's bought from www.ickleeco.co.uk. Bamboo is great in regulating their temperature and is naturally hypoallergenic so there is no chance of any irritations.
The sleepsuit is £18.50 which I think is great value as it is top quality and it has lasted a long time. It also has external seams - again helping to reduce irritation. They also sell PJs at £22. Both have optional fold over mittens to stop scratching.0 -

Thanks so much. My 88 year old father has been suffering badly with ezcema the last 5 years and I was only mentioning new Pyjamas and Underwear to my Mum today. I will do an order tommorow.0 -
Hi, I just wanted to let people know about this fab website selling all in one pj's for kids with eczema..it works out a bit cheaper than those in the UK (even with international postage)

I tried getting that for DS, but GP refused. We then bought a pack of dermasilk tubular sleeves for his arms to see if it would work for him; he now rarely scratches his arms when he has them on, and asks for them to be put on. His arms are now much better.
I will of course be going back to the GP to see if there is any chance of gettiing some on prescription.
