Noticed this vacum cleaner on https://www.ebuyer.com for £16, thought I'd seen it elsewhere for a lot more. Did a price check and the cheapest I can find it elsewhere is Argos £39.95. Its handy for keeping upstairs if like me the thought of dragging the hoover + accessories upstairs means its doesnt get done as often as it should.

Thankyou Janey, it is a good price, but.........
I bought one of these ........ after a few weeks, it died. So I took it back and got a replacement.
A few weeks later, and the same happened again!
Returned it to the store, got a refund and bought another brand..........The 'new' one is still going strong.
If you're going to buy one of these, make sure it's from a shop that will give you a refund if something goes wrong.
Personally (based on past experiences), I would avoid Morphy Richards products, no matter how cheap they are!

Ooops. Already ordered one, should be here next week.
Thanks for the warning though. :-/0 -
Sorry Janey
I have learned (following a problem that I had with a leaking kettle) that if you phone their helpline with a serial number marked on their product, telling them what the problem is, that they will send you a replacement.
I was advised to do this by a customer services representative. They asked me for details of the product and when/where I bought it. The replacement kettle came quite quickly. It worked for about 8 weeks before it died
Sorry to be so full of doom and gloom, but I have had too many bad experiences with this company's products.
I'll have a poke about for the phone number (for when if things go wrong) and will pm it to you tomorrow.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry.
Surely the Morphy Richards would no longer be producing these products if they were as unreliable as I have found them to be.
Perhaps I have just been very unlucky!

You Know what, for some reason I usually steer clear of this companies products too,in fact dont think I have a single thing of theirs in the house now I think about it, but it fitted my requirements nicely (specially at that price). Oh well heres hoping lucks on my side for a change.
Thanks Pink0 -
Hmm I got a permanent bag pod vacuum (but black not like what ebuyer have) from TJs (£29.99) with the express intention of giving it a good beating - i needed to vacuum a hell of a lot of soot and masonry dust out of the loft. It's taken its punishment without much of a fuss (apart from the bag being tiny and needing emptying every 2 mins) and is still going strong. I really expected it to die very quickly.
Maybe you have been unlucky?0
