I am quite organised today... done 6 hours overtime, planning the same tomorrow. I have set up standing orders to shift money on pay day to other accounts for saving for things like care tax and next years insurances.

House is semi tidy and I have a large pile of things to be listed on ebay...must find the insperation to list them. I have lost around 3 stone recently and have a ton of tops and jeans still with tags that are now 2 sizes too big

Well done you:T Flog them on the car boot or fleabay:D The clothes that is not kids:rotfl:

OMG I have not updated this since June.:eek:

Well it's all been happening. I have been diagnosed with a neurological disorder and have needed 4 and a bit months off work getting tests and treatments. I am back working part time at the moment returning to my full hours in late April we hope. :T

Debt has pretty much just bumped along steadily, Sick pay is not good. I should and will redo my/our SOA shortly. My business that usually makes a little each year is making a loss this year but not sure by how much until I actually do the books when the return is received.

We still have not moved. With the uncertainty surrounding my health we opted to stay where we were until we knew more. Now we thing moving is likey again. The repo we looked at in June sold in September for 4k under asking price which to me is way way way over an acceptable price for the state of it.

We are planning on getting a few estate agents up in the next few weeks to value this place with a view to moving to somewhere with less stairs come the summer. My dream or a 4 bed detatched seems unlikely as we do not know how long I will be able to work for. It might be right up until normal retiral age but it may be only few more years.

So much happening and I need to focus more. I will do SOA based on my wage for working full hours. Any hep/comments/tips would be much appreciated.

Right I have obviously messed up somewhere because I really really doubt we have 1k a month left over. We are not the best at sticking to budget though but even supposing the idea we overspend by 1k (600 at the moment with my wage reduction) is scary scary scary.

Oh hell I thought I was doing well but i am not.

I have been thinking some things over. Firstly things are not as bad as I though I am just being negitive. We have cleared a few thousand in debt since june 09 despite my wage dropping by 1200 a month for almost 5 months. We have also had to make some modifications to this place as well as living costs and we have made it without defaulting and still reducing totals despite us not being debt free by this stge as I had hoped.

I feel £300 a mont for groceries is high especially considering the store cupboard/freezer stocks we already have in so I will be setting mysel a bold challenge for April. I am thinking it may be something like £120 for the whole month and putting £180 on the highest APR debt.

In reality where my SOA says £25 for road tax really we seem to have abandoned doing that so come august will have to find £180 and the september another £150 but i am thinking tax bands will of increased so who knows.

This diary is getting fully raised from the dead.

Our home is for sale :) We need to move, we need the break this place is far too small for us all and we seem to spend time and money doing things outwith the home as a result.

Beenkeeping a spending diary and OMG.

27th May 2010 OH gets paid and its a new start for us all.

right stage one. B&C insurance due. My bank offering free C insurance when you buy B insurance. with quidco it works out as under £100 for the year. :) most happy. Even if no quidco its still cheaper.
