    They might very well be.

Im looking for the 512mb one of these for £80 (previous way of getting it for that price from Argos).

I have yet to find a 512mb for under £80 with rechargeable battery + AAA battery attachment + screen + a remote thats in stock and as good as this one.

I bought a Proline MP3 from Comet at the weekend.

256mb for £49.99 with a 2.0 USB lead and software provided, it also has an LSD screen which displays the song title . I am sure it is possible to get it cheaper on e-bay but as it was for Christmas I wanted a guaranteed delivery.

I can't find it on the website now but it was the same as THIS one but it had 256mb. I got it from my local Comet.

I'll probabely be shot down in flames now because I know nothing about MP3's but I did a bit of research and I though this was the best MP3 (with the highest mb) for under £50 available and I'm really happy with the sound quality and the screen.

An LSD screen.... for when you just have to take your MP3's on a 'trip' no doubt :P

    Silent_Bob,

I also bought the 512mb Philips mp3 player from Argos Stockwell St store earlier this year for £80.

    Its Brilliant

Wish I'd bought four when I had the chance.

It annoys me because we aksed the kids if they wanted one and they said no at the time. Now they want one I cant get one for £80 and I've not found any on the web for a similar price with all the features this came with. >:(

  • Hi,

It's not a Philips, it's a Creative 512MB MP3, but it is in November's Which as a best buy. (well the 256MB is)

Single device including P&P is £79.42, free delivery if order over £100.

I've just purchased two, good delivery
