Some of you may remember that i had a "plan" to sort out my OH's debt problems . . WELL . .
I start my new job tomorrow - am racked with nerves and its gonna be hard to leave my Little one with my mum but it's going to be worth it in the long run . .
All the creditors have agreed the repayments andn theres only really been one creditor ive had a problem with but i won that arguement!)
Were puting £500 of our wages towards paying of OH's debts so that leaves us with around £1500 for bills, expenses and day care - have to sort tax credits out then we can put more towards the debts
SO hopefully (fingers crossed) this is Jons light at the end of the tunnel!)
good luck everyone else in sorting things and thanks for all the advice ive been given xx

Ok so i thought i would update you lot on my first day back at work . .
Got there early(ish) traffic wasnt as bad as i thought and didnt cry on the way to work from missing the LO - plus had mascara on and didnt want to look a prat!
Had an induction with another guy - who then said he wouldnt sign the company policies and terms until they changed them - so off he got carted to speak to the M.D. I then went and met my line manager who then handed me a HUGE - im not kidding it really is huge - Manual on their computer system and was told to "read it" it must of took me about 2 - 3 hours to read the bloody thing and all the time i was reading i was thinking "i cant do this, i'm in way too deep" The manual doesnt make sense AT ALL to me but im hoping once i get a computer i can sit and have a little mess about with the system and get used to it.
Came home, OH is staying away tonight so not got him to talk to and the LO is REALLY annoying me as shes so fussy - and i know it should be cute but when im trying to make cheese sandwiches for lunch tomorrow and shes hanging off my leg it isnt good.
On the plus side i did a money saving thing - well technically - Theres a cafe at work and its "responable in price" (is it hell!) so i sat talking to everyone at lunch and they were saying "Ooohh i got this sandwich and a bottle of pop(like a panda pop) for £3" - and i thought hmm, £3 a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks in a month - thats £60 bloody quid for a SANDWICH and some POP - sod that - ill carry on making my own lol0 -
Glad your first day went ok. What on earth did the other newbie want changing in the terms and conditions. He sounds like trouble lol.
I hate it when places tell you to read manuals as you never learn like that, once you get to actually go on the system you learn so much quicker and then can just use the manual as a reference.
What type of job is it? Sorry if you have already said.
£60 for one sarnie and pop is definately not MSE and I bet you will have a much nicer lunch for half that money by doing it yourself.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

The other newbie loves far away and is a site engineer and the conctract said you have to live within 30 miles of base and obviously he doesnt so he wanted that changing but they said it was just a standard contract and wouldnt change it. He wasnt other bits and bobs changing on there too and was niggly but he seems a nice guy and he wont be in office so not bother me lol
They tried to give me more manuals today - got politley asked if i could just have a "fiddle" with the system and i picked most of it up within an hour lol
Its a support admin job - seems really simple until you see the manuals! lol
I've noticed im the only person who actually takes in their own dinner lol maybe they know were tightening our money belt lol the other MSE thing ive found is that if i get a drink from the cafe its 50p for a coffee - which doesnt sound bad - until you go to the drinks machine in the corridor and the SAME coffee is 18p and the only difference is that its in a poly cup! lol
Wonder what i'll find out tomorrow lol think i should of titled this as my diary lol0
