OH MY GOODNESS!!! They look amazing!! Wow- I am so impressed. They really do look fantastic! I might give that a go, they sell some nice Xmas bowls in Morrisons for about £2, so if I could use one of those and then get some coins and goodies. But I doubt they will look as good as yours!! :T

They will :D I used some tissue paper to pad the bowls out a bit so I could use less chocolate in each bowl ;)

Totally agree, although DH & my Dad both wear deodarants that cost £16-20, which I have given as presents on occasion. So I wouldn't rule it out completely. And now that I think about it, hubbie got a couple of toiletry sets for his 21st, from male friends! But more along the Aramis/Chanel route than Lynx.
  • What's the view about putting a 50% disclaimer on any winnings from scratchcards given in pot of gold gifts? :) Just kidding, but am I only one who would feel jealous?

no - i'd be expecting/hoping for a cut too - not sure i'd get it though! i think a sternly worded contract/disclaimer is needed - though not sure it'd be in keeping with the festive spirit???

I agree that those £5 Lynx boxsets are a bit tacky and too easy. My mum buys a lot of £5 gifts for Aunts, Uncles etc and usually gets an alternative to the Lynx sets. You can get FCUK deodorant/shower gel sets in Boots for about £6 or £7. They're a lot nicer and come in hard plastic cases opposed to green and black cardboard like Lynx. Plus it's 3 for 2.
