  • Hi Sarah :hello:

Hope you don't mind if I come back :D.

I've been very bad at getting things done recently and this challenge really helped me before.

I've copied and pasted my weekly list as it's pretty much the same (one day I will have finished some of these things ).

    This week I will
    • Do the housework. Done
    • Do the washing.
    • Do the ironing.
    • Go shopping and get enough food for the week.
    • Clear out some paperwork at work every day.
    • Clear out some paperwork at home.
    • Throw/recycle/donate one thing every day.
    • Do any new things on the day they come in.
    • Do one thing every day to make me feel/look better.
    • Write to a pension scheme to update details.
    • Spend 30 minutes every day doing something for work that I keep putting off because there is always something else that needs to be done first (and so this stuff is always at the back of my mind).
    • Leave work on time every day.
    • Do one thing that needs to be done because it's irritating me!
Think that's it for this week.

    Polly
  • Morning

I'm back to work after a week off and don't feel as cheery as that smiley, but it's got to be done. I'm going to put up my daily list, as that really focussed me before.

    So, today I will
    • Do any new things that come in today
    • Clear out some paperwork at work
    • Throw/recycle/donate one thing
    • Do one thing to make me feel/look better.
    • Spend 30 minutes doing something for work that I keep putting off because there is always something else that needs to be done first (and so this stuff is always at the back of my mind).
    • Leave work on time
    • Do one thing that needs to be done because it's irritating me!
    That's it - have a good day.

    Hi

Well, I got caught up with work stuff and didn't do anything last week (or yesterday) so I'm already further behind than before

This week I promise that I will
    • Do the housework. Done
    • Do the washing. Done although I might do some more and finally get to the bottom of the laundry basket!
    • Do the ironing. Half done
    • Go shopping and get enough food for the week. Sort of
    • Clear out some paperwork at work every day. No
    • Clear out some paperwork at home. Done
    • Throw/recycle/donate one thing every day. No, but I've had a bit of a mad fling today to make up.
    • Do any new things on the day they come in. Tried
    • Do one thing every day to make me feel/look better. No
    • Write to a pension scheme to update details. No, again
    • Spend 30 minutes every day doing something for work that I keep putting off because there is always something else that needs to be done first (and so this stuff is always at the back of my mind). Not everyday, but did some
    • Leave work on time every day. No, but getting earlier
    • Do one thing that needs to be done because it's irritating me! Done - bought a new shower mat (value!)
    Have a good day.

    Hi, I'm back again.

I've started to feel panicky about everything I've got to do, so I'm going to put up a list for today to try and focus myself.

    Today I will

Do the housework Done (well, good enough for this week)
Do the washing that I need for the week Done
Do the ironing that I need for the week Half done
Read my gas and electric meters Done
    Transfer some money Done
    Ring my friend Done
    Do the marking Half done
    Prepare work for tomorrow Done
Plan for rest of the week's work No
Spend 30 minutes doing 'catch up' work Done
Clear out some home paperwork No
Clear out some work paperwork that I have at home Done
Meal plan for the week so that I can go shopping tomorrow and not wander aimlessly around the supermarket, coming out with a basket of snacks and cakes and no meals! I will do this today before I go shopping.
Clean the fridge and freezer (that I've had on defrost)Done

Okay, I think that's it - might add more if I remember something else.

So much for a day of rest

    Morning

I managed to get quite a lot of things done yesterday (even if I was up till midnight doing it) and I'm a little bit more prepared for this week. This challenge really spurred me on yesterday, so I'm going for a daily list.

    • Plan for the rest of the week's work
    • Leave work on time
    • Do one thing that needs to be done because it's irritating me!
    • Meal plan, go shopping and buy enough food for the week.
    Have a good day.

    Polly
