Texan bars my all time favourite! Toffos good too, not seen them recently, but will search them out now I know they are still around! In the probably unlikely event that I actually post something of use to someone, an ickle vote of thanks would be much appreciated, in fact I might frame it and put it up on the wall next to my cycling proficiency certificate

Have you tried woolworths for toffos? I saw them in there a year or so ago so not sure if they are still there, but maybe worth a try?
Also try pound shops and places that sell foods from abroad like ikea, lidl, aldi etc as they may have something similar.
If nothing turns up, try thorntons toffee, its not the same as toffos (its richer in flavor and denser (run from your dentist, run!!!) but its similar.0 -

the ad went... have alanche... or smoething like that.
Was that 'Swisskitt' or something like that?
I think the slogan was - " I'd risk it for a Swisskitt"How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
