Hi everyone,
No:288 end of month report.
I've managed £326.23 this month, taking me to £1298.46 for the year, or 64.9% of the way towards my target. I'm quite pleased with that saying the 1st 3 months of the year where non-paid maternity leave.
Hoping for a good month next month as we are looking at cashing in DH's ISA and paying it into the mortgage seems though interest rates are so poor.
We are all doing so well. :beer:0 -
Hi,
No. 173 end of month report:
New overpayment target: £3720
Total overpayments for June: £354.79
YTD overpayments: £2146.45
I also overpaid just under £10k for selling shares but I'm not including this in my calculations.

MFW #157 update
June Stats:-
Overpayment in blue, Year To Date Overpayment in red and Balance in green.
Month / Overpay / YTD Overpay / Balance.
June / 950.00 / 4,415.29 / 89,922.48
I have reduced the term a few times this year, to increase the regular payments.
I will calculate the total for all those increases at the end of the year and add that to my overpayments.0 -
Late reporting as usual but have managed to make my normal overpayment of £305 bringing my total to day up to £1930. I'm coming to the end of my fixed rate deal at the end of this month and presumably my payments will go down (nationwide's base rate for people coming off deals is 2.5% compared to my current 5.47%) and my overpayments can go up
Although of course I'm worried I've missed the best of the fixed rate deals. Still you can't have your cake and eat it. hope everyone else is doing ok, would love to do a bit more OPing but can't seem to stop spending money at the mo
although we did just spend a big chunk getting a load of stuff done around the house (including roof repairs) so I guess not so bad really.

Keep up the good work folks!!
I'm taking a break from the overpaying for a couple of months I've decided, so that I can have a bit of a holiday and also sort out one or two other things (that will cost money, no surprise there!). Much as I want to keep at the OP'ing, we all have to live a little too, I'm sure you'll agree.
Anyway, I'll be with you in spirit till around September time, then I WILL come back and reach that 2009 target before the year's end.0 -
life has to go on Talana doesn't it? don't worry about it, hope you have a great summer. I always find that having a MFW attitude makes a difference in small ways even if I feel I'm being "naughty"
Zavarony - a good month for us. all DH's rejigging of finances has paid off methinks. Declaring our outstanding mortgage for end of June as £84745 (you can round it to £84700 if you like...) will pm you.weaving through the chaos...0 -
