Slow Cooking veggie sausages

Hello all.

Quick question - I'm making a sausage casserole on Saturday night.

Do I need to do anything special with the sausages (usually use meat) or can I just bung them in at the same time as the veg in the morning?

Thanks

  • I would Brown the sausages first otherwise they look very pasty and unappetising
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I would not put veggie sausages in the slow cooker, only because they take such a short time to cook. Have never tried it but they are easily cooked on the oven top and would be brown and appetising in no time!
