Tesco - 1/3rd off CD's & DVD's

Apologies if this has already been posted but I was in my local Tesco Extra (Grimsby)this morning - looking for a shower cd player but no luck and i noticed they had all their chart cd's with a 1/3rd off which made Robbie Williams - Intensive Care around £5.98* (it's on my xmas list ). They also had the dvd's reduced The Ashes for around £11* as well including the interactive dvd's like Telly addicts(£11*), Bullseye (£7.98*) etc. Offer is on until christmas eve apparently.

* prices are roughly correct but in my defence it was quite early this morning :rotfl:

Hopefully this will be of some use to someone out there who still has christmas shopping to do.

can anyone confirm this. I went into our local tesco (Maidstone) and they were all still the same price. I need to get Madagascar as cdwow have let me down and now cannot confirm christmas delivery.

Is it extra stores only?

been into both my local and the extra store and no offer on cd's or dvd's

Nor mine and I checked the price of Robbie Williams' cd on the scanner

Oh I am sorry guys I thought this would be a national promotion in all their extra stores:o. The first time I have been able to give something back to this site has has been so helpful to me and it looks like its only my town that has this offer on :doh:

I bought Gorillaz and Stevie Wonder(mispriced freebie) this morning and Gorillaz was 9.77.
I wonder why only some stores are running this offer.

I overheard staff talking yesterday in our local tesco dvd section and they were saying sale starts monday.

So I will be making a trip back then.
