Sainsbury's Pricing Boob on Douwe Egberts Coffee

I was in my local Sainsbury's today and needed some of my favourite Douwe Egberts Pure Gold coffee, when I can afford it I buy a large 200g jar for £5.17 but I noticed that they had made a bit of a boob with their pricing.

They are selling 100g jars for £1.99 - I cleared the shelf (only 7 jars) because 2 100g jars are £3.98 - whereas the 200g jar is £5.17 so you are getting the same amount for less money saving yourself £1.19:j

Dark roast and medium.

Yeah don't think it's a boob I think Dowe E are running promotions at the moment, there is also a 50p off coupon on the printable coupon thread.(note coupon is for there instant drinks eg Capuccino)

My mum loves this stuff! She stocks up when it's BOFOF somewhere. She had 30 jars in the garage last time I was there! She can't bare to throw the jars away, though, so she gives them to me, or if I don't need any, she put them in a box outside with a sign saying 'free to a good home' and they always go within a few days.
I could do with some of the smaller jars to keep my 'posh' coffee in, so may get some of these-thanks!

was it a normal price eg no special offer

I think the boob is probably the price of the 200g jar, even £1.99 for 100g sounds mighty expensive to me!
