CCJ's

Had a CCJ made against me recently, filled out all the corrospendance forms and to say i would be paying but needed additional time.
Recieved a letter and some payment forms to pay £125 month, now i can not afford this, at all.
I sent the form back, with the money needed to pay the court, to say I cant pay the £125 a month along with a ingoings and outgoings to back this up.
My question is, how often are this reducements agreed? i know they can do an attachment of earings and take the money direct from your wages if you dont meet the payment agreement but will they still do that if they can see i dont earn enough to pay it????
Anyones experience with this is greatfully recieved and acknowledged.

Hi
You need to ask for a redetermination hearing, to be held at a court near you.
And then you attend. otherwise you will get a less favourable agreement.
Also you need to think about your outgoings as there may be some that the court regards as luxeries and does not take into account. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I literally have no luxeries, all i pay out is £10 to top up mobile and £30 ish a month for my rat..i have no frivoloties to enjoy.
My Husband pays for meals out, cinema, anniversaries etc. I pay my debts and half of the council tax and he pays all other ultiliy bills. I did a SOA on my computer and no way of redcuing outgoings.
I feel so helpless/hopeless0 -
Also, after looking on the HM website the only form i was told to fill out was the N245,
Application for suspension of awarrant and/or variation of an order.
That says on there they will contact me in due course.

Hi
Please give NDL a ring, with your paperwork together http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help
It does not sound like you have any luxeries but you need to be aware that CCJs have priority when it comes to paying debt and if it is set too high you may have to do a DMP to sort out the other debts.
Do you pay rent or mortgage? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I do have a DMP in progress, started on 1st Sept, before I recieved the CCJ.
I pay rent as I rent with my husband and is split between us. I am aware CCJ's have priorties but I just need the monthly payments lowered thats all, I'm not trying to get out of it.0
