There was a song by the Strawbs called "Part of the Union" which got fairly high up the charts.
However, I think that Neil Young had a song called "Union Man".0 -

Union Man-Cate Brothers is this the one
Song Lyrics: Union Man
well Its 6 a.m.
Im out on the job
working like a fool for my pay
a big man walks by, with a smile
says you got to go on strike today
hey,hey Mr. union man
how am I gonna pay my dues,
or the land lord or the doctor
how am I gonna get new shoes?
well I know I need to help
to get that raise,
one thing I dont like
tell me how can I feed my hungry family
if you say Im going on strike
hey,hey Mr. union man
how am I gonna pay my dues
owe my money, how I can pay?
looks like Im bound to lose
Well dont see how
Im going to get that raise
seems like there aint no way
well,you solve the money problems
I understand but ya try to see things my way
hey hey mr. union man
thank you for the helping hand
hey hey mr. union man
so glad that you understand
hey hey mr. union man
so glad that you understand0 -
