DMP's and earning extra cash

Morning
I wonder if those on you on a dmp could help.
I'm in my 2nd year of dmp and doing ok. Thing is, I'd like to start selling things on ebay to hopefully earn a bit extra ..... how would this be best put to use? I don't want to increase my dmp payments just yet because I won't know how much I'm able to earn on ebay, plus its not going to be a regular income ... but I'd like to use it towards paying some of my debts off.
Do any of you do this? If so, whats the best way to go about it? Can I just give Payplan an extra chunk now and again and they'll distribute it around my creditors or would I be best trying to save it and then maybe make a full and final settlement offer when I have enough saved up.
With my present debt I'm going to be paying it off forever unless I can find some extra to give it a boost.
Thanks

not really sure how it works. I would think about using money from ebay sales to build up an emergency fund. then if you don't need it, you use if to make an offer but check with whomever is doing your dmpI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I'm with chevalier on this one. If I make money on ebay or whatever I tend to split it two way, half going as an extra payment to my DMP and half into my "car repair fund". Its only small amounts but each little bit helps. Also, those looking at your DMP would know this is not regular money coming in and surely can only look favourably at you paying a bit extra?

Thanks for your replies, good idea, I could do with an emergency fund, so far, touch wood, I've been ok but its a very sensible idea.
Miss P - do you just make the odd extra payment into your dmp randomly then and they distribute it on your behalf?
Thanks - mind, this is all assuming I actually make any money!Official DFW Nerd Club Member No: 286
