Student teacher arrives tomorrow for 3 weeks.
Just done a PAD on egg card for £4.61 to round down (thanks Buddiebabe).Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Loads of housework done - all ready now for student teacher to arrive later.
I've gone mad baking - a sponge cake and an apple bready kind of cake in the bread maker - will freeze half of each. They will do for puddings and also for packed lunches.
tonight we're having lamb tagine with cous-cous.
There's enough food in the house to feed an army for the next 3 weeks - never mind the student teacher
Confession time - I have just bought a new toilet seat off Ebay - cost just over £30 as its a fancy seasdiey type one - but I love it
No PAD today.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Well done on the payment for yesterday and all the housework and baking you have been doing today.DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970

Student teacher has arrived and is very nice - her English is good, but its still a bit hard going trying to speak slowly and with sign language!
Have been for a walk around the village with her which at least got me out and about. Not feeling too good today - although nothing I can put my finger on just feel quite weary phsyically and mentally and just a bit fed up I suppose.
No PAD today, but its payday on Tuesday so will be able to start doing something then.
We had cereal and toast for breakfast, lunch is woopsie pork pie, plus hard boiled egg, crisps and some bread - we always have our main meal in evening and tonight its roast chicken with all the trimmings - my fave meal.
Later on will make the packed lunches for tomorrow and take out a cottage pie which will be tomorrow's evening meal.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Buddiebabe - I think it should have been whoopsie - they talk about them all the time on the Old Style Forums - its been reduced. We have a new Sainsburys and they have massive reductions later on in the evening of food that is at its sell by date - the pork pies were 24p. They often have pies reduced to around 50p and small quiches for 40p (which I take to work for lunch). Bags of spuds reduced down to 30p Chickens can be bought for £1.99. I usually get home and freeze stuff immediately or eat it within the next couple of days. The Tescos near us never, ever sold anything cheaply
This ways means that you can't have a list you just go in and see what they've got. I think Asda's do them as well. As a consequence of doing this for the last 4 weeks our freezer is choc-a-block. It sometimes means that we have funny combinations - but hey it all adds to the interest of the meal!!
Our roast was lovely - I made some home made bread sauce which I love and which is also very filling - our teacher had never heard of it before but enjoyed it

Just looked at my account and its not too bad (for once)

Went into Sainsburys on way and got two packs of ham sell by 1st October for 84p each - so that will be ham, egg and chips for Friday night's tea. Also got 4 individual cheesecakes and trifles for 99p. Wouldn't normally bother with those but as we have the student teacher with us I provide a pudding as well at night - so we had one tonight and will have the other one tomorrow (both run out tonight), but MSE is making me eat stuff past sell-by by a day or two as long as it looks and smells OK

Packed lunches done and in the fridge.
Its my Payday tomorrow Yippee.
PAD OF £9.08 to round off my balance paid off in my siggy

PAD £200.
Total PAD for October is £680.
Student teacher paid £200 cash. Have now done my PAD and put the cash in my purse. Possibly dangerous but I don't think so. Am going to see how long it will last DH and self for - always use debit cards before and look at the mess - so can't do any worse to try with cash for everything.
Packed lunches ready in the fridge.
tonight's tea was meatballs with pasta and home made ratatouille from some which I had home made from my own home grown veggies and frozen.Debt free and Keeping on Track0
