Mint statement arrived today total is same as several posts ago. Minimum payment is showing a £96. I will pay off £100.85 just to pay more than the minimum and also to neaten it up a bit and round it off. Payment is due at the end of July so I shall pay via the internet closer to that and after pay day.

    Monday

Well on Sunday I went out and bought a dress for £44. Am making full use of my overdraft now. Its got to stop:eek:

Diet is starting today. I weighed in this morning first thing at 11 stone 12 lbs.

    So far I've had:

breakfast - 2 wheetabix and skimmed milk

lunch - (will be) left over home made curry with rice plus some strawberries and a banana.

Dinenr tonight will be a WW shepherds pie.

My new strategy is I have bought some WW ready meals (it goes agianst the grain but at the moment I need all the help I can get). DH and DS will have their usual meal and I will have a ready meal - not every day but just to get me back in the swing. I think it is mainly portion sizes as I always pile my plate up. (However, buying the ready meals (also on Sunday) has added to the OD.

Hey MrsP hope you've had a good night tonight. Sorry i've not posted for a while but like you i have had a few slips lately and i've not been able to find any spare time to come on here.

You shouldn't worry about your holiday everyone needs to take time out and you work hard so you should be able to enjoy yourself once in a while and like you said its not an extravagant holiday... your not jetting off to some foreign place and spending a fortune.

I spent most of the day sorting out all my bills and bank accounts, which have been neglected for the best part of 2 weeks and managed to sort out who and what needed paying so that ok but then i went into town and bought 3 new tops (out of a charity shop) and they were only £6.90 in total and then i also bought 8 new books (again from charity shops) but not essential items.... i so didn't need them but i wanted them :o

We all have good days and then the occassional blip so here's to having more good days (preferably NSD's) and maybe a blip once a month.... but not an expensive one... just a few pounds!!

    Good luck with the diet

    Hi Buddiebabe - thank you.

Yesterday I managed to stick to my diet and even save up some points which I will need at the weekend as DH and I are away for one night, stopping in a hotel with dinner and cooked breakfast.

Yesterday I also managed an NSD.:j

Just checked currant account = £-270.61. However, this includes £80 cheque for holiday depsoit which has now cleared plus the dress I bought on Sunday:eek:

Tonight I'm going to have to fill up with petrol ready for my trip tomorrow for work. I've just found out I'll also have to park in an NCP:eek: Luckily I will be able to claim back this expense but I have to fork out first. I will get the money back at the end of the month.

Just finished my lunch of WW wraps, WW tuna and a packet of salt and vinegar snack-a-jacks.

I had a packet of the caramel snack-a-jacks last night - they are seriously yummy, nice and sweet and they only "cost " 1.5 WW points:j:j

Well, I've arrived home to a positive response from Ocean regarding claiming back the PPI. I've posed this on the PPI claiming back board just to ask their advice. I know its silly but I'm a bit worried that if I make waves they will ask me to pay the whole loan off in one go.

Well it was a bit of a challenge on the diet today as I had to go to a workshop all day. I had my usual breakfast of wheetabix and milk. Luckily no biscuits were provided with the morning coffees and the buffet was sandwiches, wraps, crisps and fruit. I had one sandwich (well four quarters) and 3 wraps (which were very small and probably equivalent to one wrap. I came home tonight and had a WW ready meal. I probably did go over points today counting in the lunch but I feel I have done well and limited any damage.

Oh and I'm also going to count today as an NSD. I did have to pay for parking but can claim back from expenses at the end of the month.

    Hi,

have finally sat down and read your diray after seeing your name cropping up.
Good luck on the NSD and the diet. Don't beat yourself up over everything, we all have bad days ( or in some cases weeks:rolleyes: I know I do), but we all can pick ourselves back up or kick ourselves up.
Will def be subscribing to this.
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

Thank you Catspaw - nice to have you along for the ride.

So far today have stuck to the diet.

Unfortunately no NSD as I had to buy some anadins.

Weather is terrible today - it has rained non-stop.

Posted letter to Ocean for investigation into the PPI claim back.

Packed bag ready for Torquay on Saturday morning.

Just got to make packed lunches ready for tomorrow - bread is defrosting for DS' lunch and I'll make up a WW lunch - might have a ready meal and microwave it. The WW Shepherds pie is lovely and its only 4 WW points (in some cases less than a sandwich).
