Buddiebabe - thank you. I know just what you mean about feeling deprived. I bought some WW desserts and have one each night for my "supper" They are 3 points each and I am finding that by using them I don't feel deprived. I am still sticking to the diet now and have completed 3 full days on it. I have even done some exercise and managed to save some points. Am going out for dinner on Sunday night and I know that I won't have any self-control so am trying to limit the damage. :D

Buddiebabe enjoy your weekend away - you deserve a good rest so don't worry too much about your diet! If you do manage to fit in some swimming and the gym then it will help.

Day off work today - jobs:

    take car for service
take some clothes back to M&S
do a bit of shopping in Tesco (got my Clubcard vouchers to use)
    pack up Ebay parcels
go to post office and post Ebay parcels
    general tidy up
    revise for exam next Friday

Have just looked up points values for cappucinos and lattes (my weakness) as I cannot go into town without a visit to Costa Coffee. Am appalled at the points value in their food though! :eek:Will just have the drink and buy a sandwich (low in points) to eat at the garage while the car is being serviced as I will have to wait for it. It would be more MSE to take lunch from home, but as its a day off work and I have to wait for the car to be serviced (2 hours - during which time will revise for my exam) I thought I deserved it.

    Sunday

MSE wise - a terrible weekend - I bought new shoes, handbag and a pashmina:eek:

However, the new Mint card arrived and have BT'd to 0% on remaining two cards. However, did have to pay a fee so my CC debt will rise slightly. Now have MBNA with the majority of the debt at lifetime of balance of 5.9%. Rest is now on the Mint card with 0% till February 2010.

Next payday will pay off any residual interest from the Tesco and Abbey card, pay the minimum on the MBNA and Mint and the rest will hopefully clear the overdraft. Once that is done then will pay as much off the Mint card to get it as low as possible by February. At the moment its not possible for me to pay it all off by then.

Diet wise - a brilliant week I've lost 3lbs. Am so pleased. However, did not stick to diet yesterday nor today (and am out for dinner tonight). I am back on track tomorrow though.:T

    Jobs done today:

    cleaned kitchen
    hooevered everywhere
clothes out ready for work tomorrow
    washing done
packed lunches made ready for work tomorrow (and points counted)
    bedding changed and washed
went to a neighbours garage sale (they are emigrating to Australia) and got some fantastic bargains for the garden - two spades for 20p, 3 hanging basket containers for 30p spare watering can etc. DH got loads of stuff for his garage, drills etc for a couple of quid. I also bought a step bench for 50p:j

Am failing miserably on the NSD challenge. Am trying to aim for at least 4 NSDs this week.

    Monday

    Managed my first NSD today!:j:j

worked out my money income and outgoings ready for next month (just can't wait for pay day). Am now overdrawn but am trying to limit the damage as much as possible.

stuck to diet today (so far).

Breakfast my usual of two weetabix with skimmed milk.
Lunch was a WW pitta bread, ww tuna (I'm keeping them in business at the moment), lettuce (home grown), tomato, cucumber and satsuma. Snack was two WW biscuits - lemon and ginger yum.:D

Dinner tonight is home made oven chips with beans and scrambled eggs.

Oven is on now (as its early tongiht as DS has cricket at 6). I have also put in the bottom about 20 potatoes. Am in the process of defrosting one of my mince and veggie mixtures. When jackets are cooked will cut in half scoop out potato, mix with the mince and then stuff them again, will let them go cold and put on a baking tray and top with grated cheese and leave in the fridge overnight. We are having them for dinner tomorrow night but its parent's evening so there isn't going to be much time for preparation!

Tomorrows packed lunches organised - I will have one of the baked spuds with the mince mixure and microwave at work tomorrow.

    My second NSD today.

A bit shaky on the diet today - had two choccie biccies at work - but I have counted the points. Had dinner now and still have 1 point left.

Made some dough in the BM (I use pitta bread recipe during the week as dough cycle is only 45 mins as opposed to 2 hrs 20 mins for normal bread). The pittas are now rolled out ready and on a baking sheet covered with a tea towell and will be cooked a bit later.

I have made myself a salad for tomorrow's lunch which will be very low points. DS will have pitta bread and ham.

    Thursday

Right up the knuckle with my points on WW today. Still managing to hang on in there by the skin of my teeth.

Off to stay with Dad early Saturday and not back till Wednesday so that will be a real challenge with WW. Am taking all my books with me and hoping to limit the damage I do as much as possible.

On the MSE front - hoping for some NSDs when I'm with Dad.

    Thursday

Now I'm back. Managed two NSDs while away which isn't too bad.

Dad very kindly gave me some money which has gone towards my OD - thank you Dad:j

Weight wise - I was surprised to find myself the same weight as I didn't bother much with the diet when I was away. However, Sunday is my weigh day so I hope to try and lose another 1 lb by then and will update weight loss then.

DH's payday today so did my big monthly shop and also spent most of the afternoon cooking. I have made today and its all ready to be frozen: 8 portions of sweet potato and squash soup, 12 portions of chicken and lentil hot pot, 15 portions of pork casserole. I still have some minced beef which I will cook tomorrow and will make cottage pies with it plus some pasta sauce with the rest.

Also planted some raddishes, leeks and lettuce.

    Sunday

Am pleased with my weight loss of 7lbs over the last three weeks. I'm back on track with that now and determined to lose at least 2 lbs per week. My main goal is to lose at least 2 stone by October half term. I just need to keep myself motivated now so I don't stray (which is very easy for me to do).

On the MSE side, not too good a month. However, tomorrow is a new month and I'm determined to get back on track. I have set myself a steep challenge of 15 NSDs this month. Am worried as the little old habits of buying bits and bobs here and there is creeping back into my life and I need to put a stop to it immediately.

    Wednesday

Its been a while since I posted on my diary. I lost my way with MSE and my diet but I'm back on track now. I've re-jigged my money and changed the siggy to reflect this.

I've re-organised my savings and am going to use them as a stoozing account to try and pay off the bulk of my CC debt which is with a 0% till Feb 2010. The rest of the CC debt is at a lifetime balance of 6.9%. I'm not sure how much I can add to the stoozing account and feel quite ambitious to add another £1,000 to it, but I will try.

I haven't listed anything on Ebay for a while. I have got about 30 items on there already to re-list and will do that this week.

I've been struggling to achieve any NSDs and so far have only managed 1 which was today.

I haven't been at all good with the diet either. My only excuse is that I am feeling quite pressured at work at the moment and need my choccy fix at night:eek: I can see a pattern between the lack of dieting and the lack of NSDs.:D

I'm feeling a bit down and fed up about the whole thing at the moment. Hopefully it won't last long and I'll bounce back:D

Things to do this week (by Sunday) for MSE and Diet motivation:

    Re-list items on Ebay
Have an NSD on Thursday and Friday (go back to not taking money into work)
Try and stick to diet Thursday and Friday and write down everything I eat and keep within my points allowance
    Paint garden fence (weather permitting)
Plant some more veggies (weather permitting)
    Finish sewing skirt
    usual houseworkey stuff
