    Easter Monday

Had a lovely day out yesterday - packed picnic lunches and flasks and spent time walking and time on the beach. Just spend out on an evening meal - a carvery which we had planned. Managed not to spend money during the day, resisted my usual tea and cake and didn't even miss it (I had packed a flask of coffee and some home made cake).

Have decided on this plan of action now - not to spend on unnecessary food i.e. my tea and cake which for some reason I must always have when I go out! Its not good for my purse and certainly no good for my weight loss efforts which are nill are the moment!

Today staying in and the weather is absolute pants anyway. Had planned to put the panes back into the greenhouse but its been constant drizzle since first thing - the kind that drenches you and is now in for the day.

Got up about 9.30 ish which is very late for us. Had a lovely brunch of bacon, eggs, hogs pudding, fried bread, beans and toast. Skipping lunch and dinner will be pasta with tomato sauce and left over hogs pudding, plus garlic bread plus some jacket potato skins left over from dinner the other night.

Today is and NSD. I haven't been counting my NSDs this month but from now on will try for at least 4 a week minimum.

My scales finally stopped working (kitchen not bathroom). They were second hand when I got them over 10 years ago so they haven't done me bad. Bought some new ones for £14.99. Also bought a book. So no NSD today.

    Hoping for an NSD tomorrow.

NSD? Not on your life - I've spent out £50 on a clock. However, its one I have wanted for at least 5 years so I am delighted with it.

Have spent the afternoon listing on Ebay using the free lisitngs for under 99p. I have listed a total of 60 items for 99p or under and 1 item for £15. I have several more items to list. I am aiming to have at least 100 items listed this week. DH has got some items which will go for more than 99p and he is going to sort them out Tuesday night so I will list some more then. If I can make £50 to cover my clock then I will be more than pleased.

Getting ready for work tomorrow. Packed lunches done. Just got to do some ironing and sort out what clothes to wear.

Well done on the clock purchase - if you have waited 5 years for it then you deserve it. I am sorry my spending habits have rubbed off on you though:rolleyes: I am trying to be good and will stick to my shopping list when I go shopping tomorrow - I havent done a proper shop for a month now:eek: I need to go as I am down to two loo rolls and I refuse to use the crunchy stuff that Tesco sent me to try as it is way to scratchy for my delicate little places:eek:

I need to spend for my business though - I need a 4 drawer filing cabinet (foolscap size) and a decent chair, I am using my 50p jumble sale purchase that I repadded and recovered and I have had to put a cushion on it as well but it doesnt support my back properly. Methinks I have spent too much on my business but hopefully the tax man will give it me back:D Hopefully the new ad in the new magazine will help and they have asked me to provide information for their feature on wedding planners (I shall have to make something up for that though) - its a start and I am feeling positive. Just need to get rid of this bridal wear - some may be carbooted, some will go in a shop and some will be ebayed or sold elsewhere.

    Monday

Just finished listing more items on Ebay - total now listed 72. I have bids on a few and so far have made the grand sum of £17.54 - well its a start anyway!

Horace - I do hope you get some business soon - I am sure you will - keep us posted.

Sat outside and had dinner which was home made spring rolls and salad. Followed by a yoghurt (I am still desperately trying to lose weight without much success). Can't face going on the Wii Fit coach tonight as I am tired after a day at work. Had last week off and today was manic trying to catch up with everything.

Spent just over £5 on lunch.

tomorrow will definitely be an NSD - it has to be.
