Well done on the carboot and ebay sales.
Glad that you had a lovely mothers day lunch too.
I went to see my parents today, Dad was asleep in the chair whilst Mum was beavering away in the garden so I went to help. I gave her the large amaryllis bulb I got for free and it has now been potted and placed in the greenhouse with her other plants.
Next time I go round (must remember to ring first) then she will sort out a load of towels for me (one can never have too many).0 -

Had an NSD today.
Did 15 minutes on my Wii fit coach
Going to take DS to cricket and put dinner on for when I get back - its sausage pie. Getting a bit low on the food now. Our big food shop is on Satruday. I got a couple of books out of the librabry
by Annabel Kamel (I thinK). I have chosen some different meals for next month just to ring the changes a bit. Will post by new meals up later in the week.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

My Ebay buyer is not very pleased with her purchase and I have had to refund her the amount. I'm not very happy - but at least I will have the bag back and can re-list it.
In good news I have received my MBNA CC. It has a lifetime 5.9% on balance transfers. I am going to transfer my Egg CC onto it (which has a 15.9% on it) and I am going to transfer Abbey2 onto it which is at 0% for another two months. This will then give me the psycological advantage of having 3 CCs to pay off instead of 4 - even though the amount of money is the same.:D
I am then going to throw all the extra money at the other two CCs which 0% runs out in August as I am unsure of what the % will be when the 0% ends.
Thats the plan anyway.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

I have overspent massively on food this month. I had budgeted £150. Monthly shop after the meal planning came in at a tad under £200 so am really pleased about that, especially as it is a 5 week month. However, went out and about over the weekend and should have only spent £40. However, I had the £50 in my purse to go into my other account towards the washing machine - fatal - that was spent too:
Saturday breakfast approx £10
Sunday
Car parks approx £4.00
Breakfast £6.00
Lunch out £19.00
Then to round off the day went into M&S and bought the meal for a tenner plus other silly sundries of food - total just under £20.
What is the matter with me? I am so cross. Especailly as I had already identified that food was the reason for over-spending.
Have just read on another site a suggestion to leave the debit card at home when you go shopping. Have decided that I will have to give that one a go! Especially at the weekend.
Think one reason that I was a bit "spend happy" was the fact that I have got the MBNA card and have now organised my debt onto 3 credit cards. I still owe the same but with the lifetime balance I will be paying less interest per month. Plan now is to throw as much as possible at the other two credit cards which finish their 0%s soon.
I must get back on track as I can feel myself sliding back down that slippery slope.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

I've tidied my siggy up a bit and updated the CC debt. Its now on the 3 cards. I've not put myself a time limit to pay off - just as much as I can. By end of next month it will be eight thousand something:j I've just got to keep focussing on how much more disposable income I'll have when they are paid off.
Today is the start of my new MSE ways as I felt I was sliding back down that slippery path again.
DH and I were going to have takeaway fish and chips but I got two cottage pies out of the freezer this morning so we will have those instead.:j
Also updated my weight loss efforts as they have been terrible lately:D Have decided to take it in smaller chunks. Have gone for losing 9 lbs by the end of April - its a tall order but I have some time off work so I'm going to go mad on the Wii Fit coach and do lots of walking.:D
Aiming for an NSD today.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Just wanted to drop in and say good luck with the weight loss and paying off the credit cards.
I can't imagine the day when i have no credit card debt to pay and all the money i have is mine to do with as i want  one day it will happen

Monday
Well start of a new week.
Not a good weekend mse wise spent £65. However, did make £65 on Ebay so I suppose they cancel each other out.
I have just renewed my contents house insurance at the cost of £108 - I was going to pay over 12 months but it worked out slightly more, so I swallowed and paid in one go. I will now be overdrawn this month - so its now a matter of damage limitation and I've still got the Easter weekend to contend with. Will try and claw back as much as possible.
Thursday I am going to list some books on Ebay which I didn't sell at the boot fair.
Will also re-list a couple of the items which did not sell this weekend.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
thursday
Well - had no internet since last Saturday but it appears to be up and running now.
Not done so well with the spending diary either.
Council did not take out council tax as planned and have now re-arranged over 11 months starting next month.
Also changed DD which goes out on 13th to 28th so should have a bit more cash freed up this month.
DH's birthday on 21st so am desperate to save a bit of cash for that as I would like to get him a nice watch and also take him out to dinner.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Thursday - continued
Dinner tonight is home made flan - found the recipe in an old book its basically eggs, cheese and courgettes. I made it a couple of weeks ago and froze into portions. We're having it cold with lots of salad plus some home made oven cooked potato wedges plus sour cream.
Done some housework and changed DS' bed.Debt free and Keeping on Track0
