Hello Olive - well it said 80mph on the news - I think it might have been more! Lots of debris about today. Luckily the frame of the greenhouse is OK. We have all the panels safe. Just need to replace two glass panels on the top which DH says we have some extra ones. Found two of the plastic panels in the field behind the house this morning!
Yes I would have been exactly like you before MSE!Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Today I have just listed 7 items on Ebay. I am now aiming to list at least another 7 items by next Sunday! At the moment its the only way I can think of of making some extra cash.
I have been unlucky this term and not managed to get a student teacher:mad:
I am falling behind on my pay off £10K by Christmas challenge - I have hardly made any overpayments on my CCs, but hopefully that will change - I still have almost another 12 months to go.:D
Breakfast this morning was pancakes, lunch was soup and dinner tonight is the finish of the leftover Christmas turkey in a pie with mashed potato (nice comfort food). Haven't done too well with the weight loss this weekend. But if I can be fairly good during the week then I reckon I can go slightly mad at the weekend.:D
Weather can't make its mind up today, its still quite windy and one minute the sun his shining and the next its as black as midnight.
This afternoon will be getting clothes ready for the working week, packing my handbag and getting the lunches ready for tomorrow.
Then I'll be watching Dancing on Ice.:jDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Weighed myself this morning and lost 1 lb. Every little helps.:j
Ebay - one of my items has a bid for 99p on it - well its a start. Just listed another item on Ebay. By the end of this I'll have nothing left in the house! Its amazing how I can always find something to sell when I need to.:DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -

DH is in the loft as we speak looking for old phones which I can sell on Ebay or a phone site! DH hates selling anything he is a real hoarder so its good he's doing this.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Can't believe it - DH has found loads of stuff for me to Ebay.:j Normally he won't sell anything:eek: I just have to keep him motivated now. He keeps going up and down the loft ladder.
this weekend will be spent photographing and Ebaying (at least it will stop me spending).
Only thing is though "will anyone buy it?":DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Friday
Lots of DFW stuff done today.
1. I've paid for my car insurance by DD. Couldn't quite manage the £181 so by paying £12 more I can do it over 12 months and that suits better.
2. I've phoned the Electricity board and asked to pay by DD and that starts in March. Before now I've been paying when the bill comes in. I always meant to save the money but it never happened and I've been doing that for over 5 years now so that wasn't going to change.
3. Sold three items on Ebay and made the sum of £24.
4. Packaged up two telephones to send off to Fonebank. I have never used Fonebank before. If it works I should get a cheque for £45.:j We will wait and see what happens. If all goes well, then there are three more phones to go off to them.:DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
All money made from Ebay, Fonebank and any boot fairs will go straight towards my CCs. I haven't been doing too well with that challenge and feel slightly disheartened, but its early days yet and at least it has made me focus on that debt and not add to it.Debt free and Keeping on Track0

It all adds to the pot Mrs P. Keep at it you will get there.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
