What an afternoon
I got home from work (first day back after the summer hols) and received a text saying I'm Bowtime winner. Thanks Tuppie for the [thread=1108553]OP here[/thread]. I'm so excited to have won.
Then I found out my DS has been accepted on the course he wants at college. He has been suffering from depression for almost a year and missed most of year 11 at school. Because of that his GCSE results weren't as good as they might have been. He was refused entry to 6th form at his school but the college have taken his illness into account and are willing to take him. What a relief.
Then, the phone rang. It was Talksport saying I've won a crate of Strongbow from [thread=1106997]this comp[/thread]. Thanks bella165 for the OP.
It's great to receive good news for a change.
