I've won something...but is it a scam???

I've just had a phone call from Club Lacosta (time share  ?) telling me that due to a holiday questionnaire I recently completed I have won a weeks family holiday. Been given a freephone claim number and was told to ring this evening. Does this comp ring a bell with anyone? I'm smelling a rat...
I've entered loads of comps lately so it could be legit but somehow it didn't ring a bell.

Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Have a search for Club Lacosta, there are quite a few threads about them. It seems things are not quite what they seem :rolleyes:ITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0

OK, I've quickly done a little research and I'm pretty sure they got my information from here-http://www.2minutedraw.com/home/index.php
The prize they have offered me is not even the prize I entered for! Major alarm bells! Definitely not going to claim. Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Yes, I got the same thing. I wrote down the code but checked on here not to bother to ring back.
I figure anyone that gives you a code and another number to ring is probably a scam. After all, when the woman rang me, (about two weeks ago), she sounded like she was calling from a callcentre and tbh, I wouldn't expect anyone ringing me to tell me I've won a genuine prize to be sat in that sort of environment.
kateabDefinitely NOT the blogger at Katie and the Kids, OK?0
