:rotfl: Yes it maybe tiny but it has been a perfect bolt hole AND it is not often you get to buy a flat where the ROOF TERRACE is larger than the flat!:rotfl:PasturesNew wrote: »I found one smaller

A property investor who bought a flat for £175,000 at the height of the housing boom has ended up in a negative equity nightmare after its value nosedived by almost 50 per cent.
Maurice Conroy, who owns a string of buy-to-let flats, bought the studio in central London last summer. But he has just had it valued by three agents who told him it would now only sell for between £80,000 and £100,000
The property, in a Regency stucco-fronted terrace, is 120 square feet - the size of a small double bedroom.:rotfl:
Good post  the idiots at daily mail need to sort out their html so the "?" question symbol does not come in place of the GBP symbol0 -

That would be absolutely horrible, how cramped would you feel?
Put a double bed in there are you could only just stand in any other part of the room! And a 1 foot something kitchen means you'd better be bloody skinny to buy it.
The vendor has reduced this flat by another £10,000 as he really would like to sell now, otherwise he is thinking of renting it out. He has rented the flat out in the past for £180 per week
Ha! What a muppet. At £180 a week, that's £9,360 a year (a hell of a lot more that I'd pay, for sure). But ridiculous as the rent is, if he has a 90% mortgage outstanding at, say 6.5%, on £180k, he would be paying over £200 a week on it, plus service charges, ground rent, running costs, etc. And the loss of "value" on something that tiny must be scary in the next 12 - 18 months....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Look on the bright side.
You could turn the light off and get into bed before it got dark.

I live in a studio ... if my toes were a bit more agile, they could get a coke out of the fridge, pop the ring pull and chuck that in the bin.... without me moving from where I am right now.0

Your place isn't as small as this dump, though, is it?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Surely looking on the dark side.....?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
