Congrats on your D DayDon't get strung out by the way I look,
Don't judge a book by it's cover0 -
Hi....my original OR said 'all ok...I see no need to look at an IPO or a BRU/BRO'.....then 8 months in I get called to a 2nd 'face-to-face'....looking in more detail at a 'top-up' loan (as explained in earlier post), BRU forms to sign appeared 2 months later...about 1 1/2 months prior to discharge.
On looking at it in the cold light of day & in retrospect (easily said now!)...if I had been thinking CLEARLY at the time I knew I'd PROBABLY not be able to pay it but always HOPED I could clear it.
Strange that original OR said no need for BRU/BRO??? Anyway...s**t happens & credit file knackered anyway-won't affect my life at all!0 -
Congratulations on AD, thanks for the information about the BRO, you were extremely unlucky there and none of us are thinking straight about money when in the midst of it. As you say doesn't make any difference really, unless you want to be an MP or start a ltd co.
All the best for a debt free future.Bankrupt 11th June 2008

Thank you Fermi & Debt Monkey - will be cautiously optimistic then and has definitely stopped me being so scared (although as has been pointed out, it's nothing really to worry about).
All the best DM and as before - hope your debt free, BR free life is a good un
PS - haven't we all done the 'head in the sand, we can clear it, it will all be ok' before going BR? Very unfair.Do not feed the trolls please.0
