Business rates question
Another quick question! Are business rates calculated on the rent payable on a property or is a separate valuation carried out? We've negotiated rent down from £10k to £8k and I wonder if the rateable value should also decrease or if there is a risk that it could increase if I ask for it to be valued again? Vix
