Finding a 'bare trust' for my grandchild
I want to invest some money for my grandchild that I will keep the book for an receive mailshots rather than the parents, who have just split up. I don't want my grandchild to be able to access it until she is at least 18. Ive read that 'bare trusts' are the answer but where can I find these please, does anyone know?

Thought's on the Woodford equity income fund
I have been slowly reducing my holding in this fund from what I once had. It's performance is poor now and has been for some time and barring a situation where his portfolio will soar, I am struggling to not sell my holding completely. Have I got my head in the sand regarding this fund or can other forum members see some…

European smaller companies – worth holding?
I am thinking of selling my European smaller companies fund because it doesn’t seem to outperform broader European (generally mid and large cap) funds over the long term in the way that UK smaller companies funds do. It doesn’t feel like it adds any important diversification or that selling would leave a meaningful hole in…

Buying part of my parents house to allow them to do some work
Hi, I'm hoping I could get some advice? Investing directly with fund companies?
Has any member experience of investing into a fund company such as Vanguard, Fundsmith, Baillie Gifford? The charges at Hargreaves Landsdown are very high, the company gives good service but the charges are very steep. LISA question please.
I have got myself into a complete confusion. So I have the max 4000 per year to pay into my LISA as roughly 330 per month, however my ISA pays out a much better interest rate. I actually have approx £500 per month available for savings. Is it better for me to pay the full £500 into my ISA which has better interest, then…
