Dirty funds
I purchased £122K of M&G unit trusts through my IFA over 5 years ago ,they are now valued at 156K. I decided to transfer them to iii but yesterday I was informed by them that they couldn't accept them as they are dirty funds , it's the first time I've ever heard of this term. It seems that I will have to sell them and move…

I, like many people are looking for competitive interest rates. I have come across an Offshore company offering 6.25% for 1 year. Security of share dealing platforms
Hi, Given the recent headlines about information being stolen from email providers (YAHOO I think), I am concerned that if my email account were hacked, fraudsters could then request new passwords for any of my accounts. I take the obvious step of having a strong email password and changing it frequently but am concerned…

Suspicious forex scheme
One of my assistants told me today he's looking into and preparing to invest in forex using software called 4x-dat. He reckons he can avoid losses completely by 'hedging' - but that doesn't make sense to me as if you completely hedged your position you'd make no profit. I asked him if its through use of future contracts,…

Then after that, I split half of the money into an account my grandma saves for me that I don't touch,…
