Hi I'm hunting around for pet insurance for my three cats. I want decent quality cover so I'm not looking for the cheapest quote possible. However I'm insuring three 4 year old moggies with no history of ill health so I don't expect to pay a fortune either. I've just come across www.bestpetinsurancereview.co.uk which seems…

Elderly cat - possibly with kidney problems
Good morning forum members, I was wondering if anyone might have had experiences with elderly cats with kidney problems? What are the symptoms? We suspect that one of our cats, who is 15ish, has possibly got kidney problems. She has started to pee indoors (morning only) and it took us a while to realise what was going on.…

Grazing rights anyone ?
I have conflicting advice about letting a parcel of land I own for the grazing of horses. Some people say you need a break every 12 months or the person with the animals can claim grazing rights and others are saying thats only relevant to common land not private land whereby the owner can ask for the animal to be removed…

Boosters and kennels
Have booked poochie into kennels on 13th Feb for two days while we attend a wedding. Just checked his vaccination certificate and his booster is due on 18th Feb. Do you think it could cause a problem with the kennel being so close to his next booster?

Dogs had me up all night
My dogs usually don't stir once they're in their baskets upstairs. Last night they woke me up shaking and panting so I assumed they needed to go out and let them into the garden. This was repeated FIVE times and they obviously didn't need to go but were clearly petrified of something. It turned out to be the smoke alarm…

Dog flea spot on
I think the local fleas have become immune to frontline. I've just noticed one flea on one dog - managed to get it with the tweezers. I only frontlined them Christmas Eve. I'm going to stay with my mum for a couple of weeks tomorrow and really don't want her house to get fleas. I've just frontlined them again but I'm…
