Help to Buy Guarantee Mortgage issues.
We applied for a mortgage with 5% deposit scheme. The bank advised us that we had a top credit score but failed the scoring for the government scheme even though we are within all the requirements. The bank will lend to us but as we failed on the scheme we have to pay a 10% deposit. Anyone else had this? It seems really…

Other mortgage lenders are offering the…

Any good 85% LTV offset mortgages?
Hi everyone, We are looking to buy a house and we have 15% deposit. We would like to go for a 3 or 5 years fixed offset mortgage but we can't seem to find any good ones except the Yorkshire BS or Chelsea but they have a really bad reputation. The best 5 years fixed mortgage we could find was 3.69% at Tesco but we would…
