Adding to our mortgage?
Hi! My partner and I took out a joint mortgage out in April for £49000. Our repayments are £241 (5yr fix) which we are finding easily affordable. The problem is we need £5000 to finish our home improvements, could we ask our lender to add the £5000 to our mortage or would it be better to apply for a personal loan? Thanks…

The specifics-- we have about £85,000…

Cashing In An Endowment Early
Is there a website that will do a rough calculation on what my endowment will be worth if I cash it in or sell it now? I know what the current balance is, and I know I won't get the full amount just want to find out what sort of hit I will take if I get rid now. Thank you

Short term mortgages / early repayment options?
Just after some advice/pointers as it's a while since we organised mortgages... Names on Mortgage - is it worth cost?
Hi At present my husband is not named on mortgage, because he is self employed and didn't want the hassel of proving his income. Mortgage amount and secured loans question.
Hello I've just been looking through my mortgage statements from NRAM and noticed that 130k is mortgage and the rest, 40k is secured loans, both of which add up to what the house is worth. My question is, am I actually in equitable value on the mortgage itself? I know I owe 100% to NRAM but for mortgage purposes only,…

Help needed - 90% Mortgage nowhere in sight...
This evening's plea for help comes from Streatham, London.. We've just found a nice 2-bed and can muster 10% deposit (25,000) However as I have a BTL back in my home town up north, most lenders think I'm a risky applicant and won't borrow! The rental income matches the mortgage - so I didn't sell when we relocated as…
