Bank havent offered us enough? What now?
We`ve been accepted by the bank in principle for a FTB mortgage, trouble is, its £30k less than we want. So what to do now? Is it worth applying elsewhere for more or going to see a broker? Im just wondering if its worth it really.

FTB's, should we go it alone?
Hi, We've had a brilliant offer accepted on a flat that we love - on the provision that we can move quickly and get the survey done in 2 weeks. We have been using Countrywide Brokers but the mortgage that was arranged for us in principle we have now been told won't accept flats (only houses!) Obviously the broker should…

Are 100% mortgages back?
Hi, A friend of mine has recently told me that she has seen a couple of companies offering 100% mortgages again. Has anyone else seen this? I'm hoping to move in the next year or two but it looks like my flat (bought when house prices were sky high) is in about £6k negative equity so it will be really hard for me to pay…

Quick mortgage question
Is it a requirement of a mortgage to have life insurance/assurance in place or is it optional? I think I know the answer – it’s optional (but perhaps prudent).

Is it worth getting a small loan when remortgaging?
I am sort of on the brink of being under 75% LTV depending on what the mortgage company values my Flat at. If the valuation is lower than what I need it to be to make me in the 75% zone is it worth me taking out a small loan couple of grand to put me below 75%? and is it possible if the mortgage company comes back and says…

IFA in Teesside area?
Hi, I would like to speak to a financial adviser regarding pensions and possibly a buy to let mortgage. I live in Teesside, so would like…

Second…
