Taking out two loans rather than one to get better interest rate???
I need to borrow c.£20000 for building work on our house. I can borrow up to £15000 at 6%. £20000 loans start at 7.9%. What are the chances of getting two loans a couple of months apart so that they are both on the c.6% rate? TIA
