Anybody transferring out of A&L direct ISA
Hi, Sorry for the new thread! I am sure this has been discussed before, but can't seem to find it. I am transferring my A&L Direct ISA issue 2 to Abbey direct ISA (no new money, only transfer). The application form has a page where I am supposed to give the details of my existing ISA, and Abbey's "dedicated transfer team"…

The ISA Dilemma... Abbey, ING, halifax or barclays?
Dear all It's my first time to use an ISA (only started working this year) and can do with some advice. Are students exempt from tax?
Hi, I'm currently in my 1st year of uni and am researching the best savings accounts to put my student loans/grants into. I have at least £5000 left which I can save and this is obviously above the current £3000 ISA limit. I was on the Inland Revenue's website just a moment ago and came across the form "R85". According to…

Hi, this is the first year that I've had an ISA. Just got my statement from Halifax, and after they have shown the interest, they have deducted tax?? I thought these were tax free. Before I go in there to complain, I would like to get my facts straight (with your help). Any advice appreciated.
