HSBC Drop Mini Cash ISA Rate from 4.75% to 4.25%
Time for everyone to change:mad:
Alliance & Leicester lost ISA year
In March following a relatively small inheritance my wife and I followed the MSE advice and decided that Alliance and Leister had the best cash ISA deal. So we should each invest £3000 in this for 2005-6 and then another in April for 2006-7. We went to the branch filled in the forms but unfortunately mine could not be…
Mini Cash ISA Input Limits - Will they change in the future
Currently you can put £3000 each year in a Mini Cash ISA but this has been the case for many years now. Why has the government not raised this amount each year with inflation? Also Gordon Brown was desperate a couple of years ago to reduce the annual rate (hardly a policy to encourage long term saving), but all has been…

Hi everyone – I have a Maxi ISA holding managed by a company called St. James’s Place and pay monthly contributions (£47.50) into the Greater European Progressive Trust via that company and on the whole they appear to have been doing quite well. However I wish to make a lump sum additional contribution to this fund for…
Halifax ISA Saver - rate change for fixed ISA
I read on this forum about the impending rate change on June 1st, yet the "good" folk in my local HBOS branches told me they did not have this information EVEN on May 31st!! Do you guys use insider dealing, ha ha? Anyways I already had my Halifax ISA Saver Direct (variable 4.75%) set up after a lengthy xfer from Abbey…
Moving my Cash ISA
Hi All I have £6,400 in a mini Cash ISA with Intelligent Finance earning 4.55%. I'm wondering there are other cash ISAs out there paying more. Has anyone come across a better rate? Thanks, Terry
