Planning permission for work on driveway?
If we were to take out the garden/rockery and put down some form of chippings (sorry, probably not the right word!) from half of our driveway, would we need planning permission for that? It would be a short term measure, so we could get another car on the drive, until we can afford to have the driveway done properly. Thanks

Hudson Reed radiators any good?
Looking for a vertical radiator for the new kitchen/diner. Need around 1.5kw so I was looking at the Vulcan Square from B&Q which at £339 was about what I was expecting to pay. Bathroom Ceiling Paint
We're in our first home and in the (long) process of renovating it. The bathroom is all tiled apart from the ceiling, which is now not really white any more - but patchy and yellow in places (and peeling slightly in a small area). I suspect this might be because they've used ordinary paint and not bathroom paint. Although,…

How to remove a mildew smell from Wardrobe?
Hi all, I've just acquired a wardrobe but it smells quite musty/mildewy. What are the best ways to remove this smell? I don't think that it is damp and I know it hasn't come from a damp house so I'm guessing the smell may have come from the clothes that were originally kept in there. Thanks :)
