Im currently looking to take on a second job. I was wandering how is the tax and national insurance calculated on a second job. Im currently earning around £10-11k a year. The second job would be around the £439.40 a month before deductions. Any help would be highly appreciated. :)

I work part time on nmw so i know that i don't pay any ni Should my employer make any contributions? i work on average 20hrs a week but my contact only states 12hrs So far this tax year my employer has paid £0.14 in NI contributions according to my payslip.
