On behalf of a friend - he's a foreign student, does not have a NI no. Did some casual work for got 700+ for 2 weeks. Thats the only work for the year, but his pay was deducted of 50 od quid for NI contributions (0 pounds tax). Can he claim back the NI contributions? I'll be honest, Ive got no clue on this.
