Egg money limits
I have an Egg money card which we are trying to use for all our spending. Unfortunately they will only give me a limit of £900 which is not anywhere near enough to cover our spending. I requested a limit increase online but was refused, no idea why. Does anyone know how long I need to wait before trying again?…

Living abroad
I normally live abroad for a few months a year in the south of France. I'm just wondering what credit card companies would charge me for sending statements to my foreign address. Also would I still receive promotional mail. Do any companies charge for running my account whilst I am abroad as well. Thanks

Student with Credit Card!
Has anyone got any ideas. I have become a mature student (nurse) and after being stitched up by my ex-partner (and if I'm honest some bad choices on my behalf too) I have a credit card at £7,500. My limit is £9,000 so I'm within my limits but I just seem to be paying off the minimum amount and it isn't going down at all.…

Egg won't accept a S.O. for repayments !
Having been stuck paying the minimum each month off my Egg card, I decided to take Martin's advice and change it to a fixed amount, so I cancelled the direct debit and setup a standing order instead for £20-odd more than the minimum payments were (I don't buy on the card, just repay). I emailed Egg to let them know and got…

Nice little earner for Amex
I pay off all my credit cards every month by direct debit, but I just had a shock when Amex debited my current account even though I don't owe them any money. On all my other credit cards, when the direct debit is initiated, which would be about 3-5 days before the money transfers, the amount debited is calculated as the…

credit limits, wot do u expect?
Can the cc companies do any right? If they give too low a credit limit, then ppl ring them up and cancel the card. Sweep it out the way and say, " i would'nt apply for that card, I earn 20k and they only gave me a 2k limit" If they give too much of a credit limit, then they are an "irresponsible lender"! What are they…

So my thinking is to get a card with some good rewards to get a little cash back. Any suggestions? BTW: I"m in the U.S.
