Beeejayzus!!! I saw trhis mob at Wembley in....ummmm....1991? (Backing G'n'R) - don't remember them so couldn't have been all that.
Or maybe that's just my memory? LOL

Likewise - and that's what got me into them.
They only had about 25 mins to lay & had their sound turned down, but otherwise made an impression on me.
Are you saying that you haven't heard any NIN since '91?!
Download that album for free, and then hunt around for a cheap copy of The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, or Broken - All Industrial Rock masterpieces.

Anyone having problems getting this to play? It's downloaded fine onto my PC, and if I open each track up individually it's great, but I cannot get it to save to Media Player as an album and automatically progress through the tracks - it looks like it's there, but as soon as I hit play it disappears/the links break.
Never had this problem with other downloads, so any thoughts?

I'd look for a utility which may convert the files into a different format.
Was it the regular MP3 version you downloaded, or the better quality Windows version?

Thanks - any ideas which/what to look for (I have very basic knowledge when it comes to this sort of thing).
It was the basic MP3 version I downloaded.

I go to this place when searching for utilities:
http://www.versiontracker.com/windows/
( I use a Mac, but the same site has databases for all OS types).
I did a search for 'mp3 wma' & the top result seems like a fair bet:
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/142115
Hope it goes well.

Almost 2 years later and it's still working, praise the nails
Many thanks for this, I lost everything while ago, and replacing furniture and oh yeh a life was closer to the top of the list, wish more bands were so kind to fans.
Thanks again

Haha, I got all excited then, I thought they had released something new even though they have stopped going!
Ah well, it is good it is still up. Annoyed my other half at the time though, he went out and bought it, he didn't realize I already had a FLAC copy for free.

I've downloaded it but not overly impressed with the 3 tracks I've listened to so far. I liked this band years ago but they don't sound like the same band on this album (

I have to agree, I have every album (and most of the singles) and I think this is my least favorite release, at least in the worst 5. Perhaps this was why it was free?

Sounds about right to me, and to the earlier poster I am not complaining about it being free, I'm complaining about it being a crap album, I've had several decent albums for free from various artists, presumably the freebie is a way of getting more sales eventually so the quality needs to be as good as a paid-for CD/download
