Bargain Ronseal Decking Stain At Wilkinsons 8th May 08 at 9:38 AM
Wilkinsons sell Ronseal Decking stain (all colours) 2.5 litre tins for £18.99 and the applicator pack for £24.99. The applicator pack includes the decking pad for a perfect finish. However they currently have a promotion on where if you buy the applicator pack you can buy the refill pack for £10. So even if you don't want the decking pad you might as well buy it as you then get 5 litres of decking stain for £34.99. The same thing in B&Q costs £55.46 thats £24.48 for the tin and £30.98 for the applicator pack a saving of £20.47.

I seem to remember that B&Q used to have a price promise where if you found the identical item cheaper elsewhere then they would beat it by 10%. I don't know if they still operate this policy but if they do then you could buy the tin and applicator pack from B&Q for £31.49 saving yourself £23.97 on its original price.

  • Bounts seems to have totally shifted its model today. MSE will be investigating exactly what this means and report back next week

  • Today's twitter poll: British Summer Time ends Sun as clocks go back at 2am. Would you prefer they didn't (ie lighter eves, darker morns)?

  • BBC weather just told us clocks going back means "everyone gets an extra hour's sleep". Hmmm not if you've young children or on nightshift.
