Drama 1 Miami Competition – Additional Terms and Conditions

1)The prize comprises:

1. Return economy class flights for two to Miami, USA from the prize provider’s choice of airport in London;
2. Return airport transfers for two between Miami airport and The Biltmore in Coral Gables;
3. Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for two at The Biltmore, based on the prize winner and their companion sharing a Junior Suite, on a full board basis (subject to availability). Full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on a daily basis with soft drinks (excludes alcoholic drinks and access to meals at the Palme d’Or restaurant);
4. One (1) spa treatment per person at The Biltmore’s spa. The prize winner and their companion will be able to choose either a 50 minute Swedish Massage or a 50 minute Deep Tissue Massage;
5. Travel insurance; and
6. £1,000 spending money for the prize winner only.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations e-mail from Element and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed by 30th November 2018, excluding travel between 26th March 2018 to 13th April 2018; 28th May 2018 to 1st June 2018; 16th July 2018 to 5th September 2018; 22nd to 26th October 2018. Travel is also excluded on the following dates: 4th July 2018, 8th October 2018 and 22nd to 23rd November 2018. The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) Flights may be indirect and the routing will be determined by the prize provider.
5) The prize winner and their companion must hold current and valid passports and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to the USA including but not limited to making a timely application for receipt of ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) authorization under the Visa Waiver Program. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their companion. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip.
6) The prize winner and their companion must depart and return to the same UK airport.
7) Travel insurance terms exclude pre-existing medical conditions and insurance is subject to standard policy excesses and an upper age limit of 69 years.
8) Where the prize winner is under 21 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over to check into the hotels. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotels for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companion adhere to the local laws in the USA. It is highly recommended that the prize winner and their companion obtain advice from a medical professional in advance of travelling and ensure that vaccinations are up to date.
9) The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
10) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended
11) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize. The prize is non-transferrable.
12) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
13) A cheque for the £1,000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
