    YOUR AMAZING ITINERARY

Day 1 - Board your Air Canada fight direct from London Heathrow to St. John’s. Enjoy an onboard film and lunch before you touch down at St. John’s International Airport. Spend the afternoon exploring downtown St. John’s. Immerse yourself in the city’s colourful culture, history and heritage and feast on culinary delights before sampling the nightlife on George Street. Overnight in St. John’s.

Day 2 - Collect your hire car from downtown St. John’s and take time to explore the Avalon Peninsula. Take the stunning, scenic coastal drive from downtown to Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site - the most easterly point of North America. Brace yourself for the ocean views and keep a look out for humpback whales, puffins and icebergs. Overnight in St. John’s.

Day 3 - Today you’ll take the breathtaking coastal drive along Conception Bay to Trinity, famous for its role in the blockbuster Film starring Kevin Spacey, The Shipping News, and highly acclaimed TV series, Random Passage. Houses, museums, art galleries, and other historic buildings preserved from the 18th century fill Trinity and its surrounding communities.

Day 4 - Your next stop will be Notre Dame Bay and the picturesque village of Twillingate, which sits on the edge of ‘Iceberg Alley’, a vast corridor of ocean that runs from Greenland. In the waters off the coast, look for whales, dolphins, harp seals, seabirds and – if the season is right – icebergs.

Day 5 and 6 - Head for Grose Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site stretching across 1,805 square kilometres of western Newfoundland as part of the towering Long Range Mountains. Shaped by ancient tectonic upheavals and glacial processes, the unique geology has created stunning scenery amongst colourful communities in a spectacular settng. A boat trip along Western Brook Pond Fjord and a walk in the Tableland Mountains are a must.

Day 7 - Drive to Deer Lake Airport, drop off your hire car and head back to London with Air Canada on an overnight flight via St. John’s.
