Dismissed from work

Hi all.
I was dismissed from my ER in December - this is something that I am raising with ACAS as this I believe was an unfair dismissal.
Anyway this is ongoing and I'm arranging appeal/ Grievence meetings.
But I wanted to ask what I could claim back as I am now out of work;
How would I claim back Tax?
Could I claim any National Insurance?
Could I claim back Student loan payments?
Is there anything else that I can claim back?

Why are you assuming you will be unemployed for a long period? I wouldn't have thought you can do anything until the end of the tax year, by which time the situation could be entirely different.0

I am looking for another job I have applied for loads but just want to check what I can claim back till I find another job.
I do have an interview on Tuesday though - hopefully the first of many.
Alongside looking for jobs I do have the appeal to sort out.

You haven't overpaid NI so there's nothing to claim back.
As for tax and student loan repayments, you may have overpaid those but you won't know for sure until the end of the tax year, and unless you decide that you are not going to work at all for the rest of the year then you can't make a claim until then.0 -
Were you given all the relevant paperwork when they suspended you, or were you just dismissed?0

Nothing you can claim back at the moment. Tax is recalculated at the end of the year if you don't start work again. If you do get another job it might be corrected earlier in the new payroll calculations.0

What does ER stand for?
As the others say the only thing you will get back is some tax presuming you don't get another job quickly. But it all takes time. Good luck to you.0
