I love the idea of a random frog!

So nice I got two when I bought them in case one breaks...the other will likely stay wrapped up and have to get buried or burned with me.

I got her from this stupidly expensive designer perfume and candle shop in the sale a few years ago. It’s her first xmas at the top so she’s well chuffed I can tell you.

She does have this slightly insane smile on her though when you look closely, which is naturally why she appealed to me way beyond her natural beauty.

Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early..

Same with the pagan cat door knocker , she has no name either....after 4yrs!!

There are times I find though when names aren’t needed....things, people or animals are just there. I didn’t name my cat (living one), as one just didn’t come to mind. My house mate at the time was distraught at this as how would she know when to come () so she named her. It made her feel better, and to be fair everyone else. Cat couldn’t care less bar heat, food, and a head rub.

Cat still gets called whatever comes into my head at that time, she’s cool with it, and clearly way ahead on the humans about needing the same name every day. Not that I need to speak to her in human chat.

Thinking about it , my last guinea-pig was called Pig. That makes me either very lazy, or weird, or amazingly in tune, or bonkers.

For some reason I just didn’t as I hit around 30 oddyrs , it wasn’t a conscious decision at all, and sometimes I think I have names in my head I just don’t need to verbalise them. As to the pet/ thing...it doesn’t matter.

Naming everything is very much a human thing, men naming cars as I did my first etc.

Having said that, the frog is going to end up as Doris now as she now has a name given. . Doris is good, cant see why not, and it’s nice you named her. Doris she is.
