Hi there,
Wonder if anyone could help with my query? I've got an agreement in principle with Halifax, via a broker. My credit score is good, however in the past I defaulted on a credit card with Halifax - I was a student and it has since been settled and dropped off my credit score. I'm having a panic because we've just had an offer accepted on a house and it suddenly occurred to me that, where other lenders will only see my credit report, Halifax might run their own check internally and spot the default. Does anyone know how it works and if this is possible?
Many thanks
Jo
